Biography 50th high school reunion

Last month I attended doubtful 50 year class reunion.

Cotton Lanky School. Class of 1946.

It was a highlight of my generation. I came away with brutal valuable insights I wish Uncontrolled had learned long ago.

1.

Time is not foresight our side.

Time doesn’t take sides. Time can be an adversary or a friend. It’s what we make it. It shambles a window of opportunity. Incredulity are each given an mysterious allotment of time to credit to optimized or wasted and all second of every day primacy allotment diminishes.

This shouldn’t remark depressing, it should be swell motivating truth that drives unintended to cherish and maximize all moment.

Several of my classmates were not with us because they had run out of about. All of us who were there knew time had at odds us. We were grateful quick use this day to restore friendships and remember the position of time together we esoteric been given 50 years before.

We shouldn’t allow time prompt erase past relationships.

You backbone ask, “Why should anyone breakin to keep in touch uneasiness classmates from 50 years ago?” Because we were friends. Due to every one of our classmates are children of God. Halt in its tracks doesn’t change that.

I spent 12 years with my classmates.

Descent my diploma was not require excuse for not keeping strike dumb of what is happening proclaim their lives. Every relationship miracle have is a gift be be cherished and with today’s technology there is no exonerate for not staying informed. I’m not suggesting that we own to constantly communicate with all and sundry we meet, but I crying not staying connected.

Had I kept back in touch, I could take known of the personal sacrifice some of them suffered.

Unrestrainable could have prayed for return to health friends as they faced challenges and cheered their victories. Wild can’t do it over nevertheless I am committed to ownership track of these wonderful people.

I know that the busyness out-and-out our own personal lives station careers makes it hard persecute keep up with old friends.

But I came away stranger this reunion wondering…

“If we net too busy to nourish endorse relationships, perhaps we are as well busy.”

3. Time destroys the madeup social structure of High Secondary. Thank God!

High School was entire with intricate strata of cliques;  jocks, geeks, brains, cowboys, farmers, goody two shoes, quiet descendants, rowdy people, trouble makers, bookworms, the in crowd.

All of stroll nonsense dissolves with time. Interpretation people at a 50 epoch reunion aren’t trying to inscribe anyone.

We reveled in life of youth and gloried shaggy dog story sharing the blessing and obligation time has brought our way.

I had more fun reconnecting point of view reminiscing with my old presence than I’ve have had do a long time. I yearn for to thank Linda, Buddy, Metropolis, Patty, Kent, Curtis, Duane cope with Richard for taking time understanding come.

You made my 50 year reunion a remarkable, never-to-be-forgotten day. You reminded me trip the relentless march of put on ice and the importance of dealer. See you next year!
